A Vintage High Chair Gets an Exciting New Life!

Being a girl who likes antiques and vintage decor items…it just made sense for me to buy a vintage wooden high chair for my newborn daughter to dine in!

I even had a custom high chair cushion made. (Those of you who know me will not be suprised.) We had some good cries and laughs in this high chair.

My daughter is now almost five years old, and so it was time to part with this beauty that had been collecting dust in my basement.

My first thought was of my friend Christie Adams of Christie Adams Photography. Christie has documented our family in photographs since our daughter’s birth and has a beautiful studio in Ridgewood, NJ. She does adorable cake smash photo sessions for one year olds and I thought a painted high chair would be a perfect addition to her props!

Here is her first client to use the painted high chair! How handsome is he?!

An exciting new life for this vintage piece!

  1. LOVE this! I just picked up a high chair myself with this exact concept in mind.
A visit to Hazel Mae Home is in its future, for sure! 🙂
