I just love when I see something and have a creative idea right away! It doesn’t always work like that.
I saw this poor ugly little magazine rack at a garage sale and thought…. library book caddy! I am always trying to corral my daughter’s library books so they don’t get mixed in with those we own. This would be the perfect place to keep them!
My friend and past client Allison saw past the old floral design, thought a library book caddy was a great idea too and immediately hired me to customize it for her daughter’s bedroom.
We chose Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Pure White and did a simple, clean monogram in a custom mix of a rich chocolate brown! For those interested it was 1 part Primer Red, 1 part Graphite and 1 part Olive. All Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
Now it truly is the perfect place to keep library books together!
