This nightstand was well-loved. The paint was chipping, the top veneer was peeling off. A small piece of trim on the bottom right had been broken off.
But it was sturdy, well-made, had style (look at those knobs!) and was Carrie’s Grandma’s. I am so glad she reached out to Hazel Mae Home to restyle this vintage treasure.
I sanded the top, repaired the broken off corner, and painted in Annie Sloan Paris Grey and Old White. I finished with Annie Sloan Clear Wax.
I am so glad the Carrie agreed to keep the original hardware and paint the inside of the drawer (Annie Sloan Duck Egg Blue)!
This vintage nightstand might be moved from the bedroom to the living room it’s so lovely.
