Painted Craft Store Pumpkins

I love this time of year! The wearing of boots and jeans, the fall colors in the trees… the white pumpkins! When it comes to pumpkins I do prefer the white and blueish ones over the orange ones!

I do most of my home decorating with real white pumpkins. I have a thing for those cute little baby boos. But this year I decided to mix in some craft store white pumpkins. However, I knew right away that they would need some attention. They just looked so plastic-y and fake.

I painted them with Annie Sloan Old White and Old Ochre and added some Annie Sloan Dark Wax in the crevices.

Now these craft store pumpkins are ready to mix in with the real ones year after year.

Happy fall!
