I was organizing my Hazel Mae Home photos yesterday and realized that I never shared this nesting table redesign with you. These nesting tables were found at a local estate sale. They are not the typical style I purchase and paint but I love nesting tables so I bought them. I knew I could make them better.
I immediately felt that they were supposed to be a dark color. And I knew that I wanted the original wood to show through. Plus, the smaller table could not have a painted top because it had to slide into the grooves under the larger table. (Love that.) I painted in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Graphite, distressed a little heavier than I usually do, and waxed with Annie Sloan Dark Wax.
This set is sold, but please always check the Available for Purchase section on my blog. I try and squeeze in projects to sell between projects for clients. Currently there are still two mirrors and a cane back chair in my sale inventory. And I always have vintage frames ready to turn into Jewelry Displays or Custom Chalkboards. Please drop me an email if you would like something custom made!
