Hazel Mae Home is two years old!
My very small business has grown organically over the last year. I completed over 40 vintage redesigns for clients! I donated several items to local schools. I sold a few pieces that I acquired and redesigned by my own vision! It was a great second year!
Let’s take a look back at the top five projects that received the most views, comments and likes on this blog and on my Hazel Mae Home Facebook page. Click on the titles if you missed a post and want the full details.
1 | Dark Antique Desk Turned Light Feminine Vanity
This was an amazing redesign. Meghan had the idea to turn this desk into a vanity. The Old White paint lightened it and allowed the details to shine. And Meghan loved the bench and mirror that I staged it with so much – that she asked to bring those home too!
2 | Every Room Needs an Antique
I loved this project! This old table had seen better days. But Amy knew it had potential and had just the right place in her home for it. The comments and enthusiasm on my Facebook page were overwhelming for this piece!
3 | A Buffet for my Own Dining Room
I fit in a project for my own home this past year. I immediately saw the potential in this buffet with missing hardware! I am so pleased to have this out of my garage and into my dining room!
4 | Vintage Card Catalog Wine Bar
This was a fun piece to find and redesign! I love giving now useless pieces of history a new life! This time with Annie Sloan Graphite and the brass hardware cleaned up! And the icing on the cake… it sold to a librarian!
Sue brought me this dresser to redesign for her daughter’s bedroom. I love the combination of Paris Grey and Pure White. And so did a lot of people! This is the last of the top five for the year!
Thank you for all of the support and love this past year! Please continue to share my page and information with friends and family as that is how my business has grown. I am looking forward to another year of redesigning vintage furniture for all of you!
