It’s that time of year – time to look back on what we have accomplished during the year and look forward to what we hope to accomplish in the new year.
Things slowed down a little at Hazel Mae Home in 2016. It was a good slow down. I didn’t take on as many projects, which allowed me to focus on my family, friends, volunteering at school and church, and exercising. A big part of my summer was taken up by redesigning the Teacher’s Lounge at my daughter’s school. If you missed that post, you can find it here. It was a big job, but so satisfying to provide a fresh, new space for the teachers and staff!
I am also proud that Hazel Mae Home was featured in The Chippy Barn’s Instagram Inspiration Guide in 2016. It was an honor that they included my work in their publication!
And as always, I am happy to be doing something I love – redesigning vintage furniture for my clients to enjoy for many years to come.
Here is a round up of the best projects in 2016. It was definitely a blue and grey year – specifically Annie Sloan Napoleonic Blue, Annie Sloan Paris Grey, General Finishes Queenstown Gray, General Finishes Coastal Blue and Pure & Original Tin Kettle.
Thank you to all of my clients for trusting me with your furniture! I am excited what new (old) furniture 2017 will bring my way!
