They were beautiful original and in very good condition, but updating them with some paint was going to make them perfect for my client’s guest room.
These were my client’s husband’s grandmothers. They were sitting in my client’s garage just waiting for the right time to reinvent themselves.
General Finishes Queenstown Gray has been a favorite color since I started using it. It especially looks beautiful with the distressed wood peeking through.
I lined the drawers with paper from Rifle Paper Co. This floral may be my favorite paper design ever. It looks amazing with the gray and the original brass hardware. I know that lining drawers isn’t necessary … but it’s just lovely to find the surprise of a papered drawer when you open it!
Thank you for trusting me with these heirloom pieces, Cristina! I am looking forward to painting the coordinating dresser next!
