This beautiful child’s desk and chair were redesigned in Antique White Milk Paint by General Finishes. I sanded the drawers down to the original wood hoping to find some lovely wood grain — and I did. I simply finished them with a clear top coat.

I replaced the dated drawer pulls with these silver and gold floral pulls I found on Etsy. The pictures don’t do them justice. They are so pretty in person.

The chair seat was covered with a soft pink and off-white gingham fabric from Spoonflower.
I had extra fabric and my friend Megan of West of Portobello Road made the sweetest bolster pillow. This way, you can bring the gingham pattern to another part of the room. I see this on a bed, end of bed bench, or a window seat!

The inside of the drawers are lined with a vintage inspired floral that pairs with the gingham beautifully.

Because this is a child’s desk and will hopefully be used — I do recommend using a desk blotter similar to this one by Pottery Barn Teen to protect the desktop.
