Another tall dresser … but this one needs a home!
I get a lot of leads on vintage furniture and some I can envision their new life immediately. For this beauty, I knew that I had to keep the original flame mahogany and brass hardware.

But as with all of these old pieces, it needed some love. One drawer pull was missing (on the third drawer), so I scoured Etsy and Ebay to find a replacement. I couldn’t find the exact, but was able to find a pair of similar pulls that were perfect for the top drawer.

The top drawer had a lot of damage and the center medallion was dry and brittle so I removed it. I painted the top drawer and rest of the body in Annie Sloan Graphite Chalk Paint. And then finished it with Annie Sloan Black Wax.

The drawers are lined with “Vintage Blush Floral Gray” paper from one of my favorite Spoonflower designers, Crystal Walen.

I am so pleased with how this one turned out! I’m tempted to keep it for myself, but it is available for purchase.
